The Detica DataRetain™ system has been developed in close co-operation with Communications Service Providers Police Liaison Units, Law Enforcement and Government Agencies, and has been designed to be configured to support case investigation processes with minimum effort.

Service Providers who use the Detica DataRetain™ system for data retention compliance are able to offer Law Enforcement officers a simple, self-service process for information queries through a secure web portal from a personal computer with internet access. No special equipment is required and an easy-to- use web interface ensures that minimal staff training is necessary. The option also exists of using the ETSI RDHI Data Retention Interface to integrate directly with existing case management systems.

Call records are available for information queries within seconds of arrival at the Detica DataRetain™ store, and the system returns results of queries within milliseconds over a secure, encrypted interface.

The system maintains full audit trail logging of user transactions and system administration to prevent misuse and assure evidential quality.

Information delivered from Detica DataRetain™ is supplied in a clear format that is easy to collate into case reports.
